Dr. Snevel is a 2002 graduate of Willoughby South High School. During high school Dr. Snevel was an active member of the football and track teams. He also achieved a black belt in karate, and attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank you can achieve, with the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Snevel attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he earned dual under graduate degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience.
Dr. Snevel earned his D.D.S. degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2011. During his time in dental school Dr. Snevel was an active member of the college admissions board and Psi Omega, a nationally recognized dental fraternity, in which he served as Vice President. While a student at Ohio State he earned the prestigious Hegtvedt Scholarship, a grant awarded to students for research in the fields of Oral Surgery and Pediatrics. Dr. Snevel was also active in attending presentations on all aspects of dentistry outside of the academic setting of the college. Some of Dr. Snevel’s fondest memories of dental school were spent mentoring and tutoring underclassmen in their pursuit of attaining the clinical excellence that The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is so well known for. In addition to his training and extracurricular activities, Dr. Snevel helped organize and fundraise two separate dental mission trips with fellow dental students to provide free dental care to underserved populations of The Dominican Republic, and Ecuador.
Dr. Snevel now practices Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry with a special focus on cosmetic procedures and family dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and The Northeast Ohio Dental Association. In his free time he enjoys playing music, spending time with his family, and fly-fishing.
