Have you been told that you don't have enough bone to hold a dental implant?

Or that you would require expensive and lenghty bone grafting proceedures prior to placement of your implants?

There is a revolutionary new type of dental implant that is now available to patients that may make these concerns obsolete!

Dental Implants require bone to anchor them and hold them steady.  However, if you have gone a long time with missing teeth, your bone may have shrunk, making it difficult to provide enough stability to hold the implant in place.

When there is not enough bone present, it may be necessary to first have a bone grafting proceedure performed in addition to placing the dental implant.  Bone grafts can have lots of different names (such as: Sinus Lift, Ridge Spliting, Block graft etc).  Essentially it boils down to adding bone where there is none.  This can be painful, expensive, and have its own risks as well.

With the Bicon dental implant system, these extra bone grafting proceedures can be avoided.  Bicon dental implants are designed so that they can be shorter than traditional implants. Therefore they require less bone to hold them in place.  However, these implants are just as strong if not stronger than current implants out on the market.  It is important to note that these implants have been around for almost 30 years!  The company is based in Boston, Mass.

At The Snevel Dental Group Ltd, we place and restore Bicon dental implants.  Dr. Gregory J. Snevel has attended numerous courses at the Bicon Institute and recieved specialized training in this technique.

If you are interested in replacing your missing teeth with implants, please don't hesitate to call our office for more information!
